Student Driven Music Academy

The Student Driven Music Academy is a program that is designed to teach instrumental performance to students and assist them in forming bands and writing their own original music. The program is broken up into both sectional lessons and group rehearsals. In this way students receive focused attention on how to improve on their instrument while also having the freedom to write their own music with each other.

In these rehearsals students work to build positive communication skills while also learning and writing songs that best enhance their technical skills. Once these songs are completed our students can either record or perform these songs in manners which will help increase their self efficacy. In addition they receive career counseling where they receive job shadowing and informational interview opportunities based on their interests.
